Delhaize Bucharest’s new headquarters represents the company’s DNA and market position. Mega Image, a subsidiary of Ahold Delhaize Group, is Romania’s number one retailer. They are known for being pioneers in the Romanian market by implementing design-oriented commercial business and new concepts focused on customer experience. The area of 4000m² accommodate 500 people and the necessary facilities. Work, communication, and database flows were established before the design concept began to ensure the space was suitable for the company’s needs.


The project was divided into several milestones such as gather information about the company through meetings with all senior management and directors, identify the company’s day-to-day business processes, and coordinate concept design and implementation. To respect its employees, the company wanted to provide the best working environment. This desire gave rise to a cafeteria where regular events are held, a relaxation room with games, a retreat area for private conversations but also a welcoming reception for company’s partners.
